Anisha Palat

Anisha Palat is an art historian with a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Her research explores human-animal relations, social hierarchies, and ecocritical approaches within South Asian art history and visual culture. Anisha is a British Art Network Bursary Awardee 2025-26: Tate and Paul Mellon Centre. Using the funds secured from this bursary, she carried out preliminary archival research in the Cambridge South Asia Archive on colonial-era hunting photography.
